Entertainment Weekly reports that, while appearing on the Italian talk show Parla Con Me, Tarantino said “he will make another installment of his successful Kill Bill series, but that he wants there to be a 10-year break between the second and third film.”
“That would put Kill Bill 3 with a 2014 release date and his star Uma Thurman at 44, just the right age to kick more ass,” EW points out.
Maybe by then we’ll finally see the home video release of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, the long-awaited box set that would combine both Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 into one big film. Or perhaps now Tarantino will wait even longer to release it so as to include the third film in it.
